Description

We are currently looking to hire into our Oxford Real Estate team and welcome applications from experienced Residential Property candidates at Senior Associate or Legal Director level. The team acts for private UK buyers and sellers, as well as overseas clients and is positioned on panels of many leading mortgage lenders.

The successful applicant can expect a mix of work acting for buyers and sellers in relation to purchases and sales of freehold and leasehold property. Your responsibilities might include but not be limited to:

  • Reviewing, drafting and amending contracts, deeds, letters and reports
  • Completing search submissions and land registry formalities, researching titles and handling subsequent queries
  • Managing exchange, completion and post-completion matters
  • Advising on financial management matters such as mortgage redemption, transfer of equity and re-mortgage processes
  • Handling residential tenancy and licence matters
  • Providing advice on residential property transactions for new developments
  • Secured lending work

We can provide you with an excellent platform to develop both your technical ability and business development skills within a supportive and thriving team.

Whilst you will be part of a large real estate team which spans our other offices (especially Oxford, Reading, Southampton and Cardiff), you will be working exclusively in the real estate team in our Oxford office. You will likely soon develop close client relationships that will endure through your career. Our encouragement of a decent work/life balance and complementary interests will help you towards a strong long-term profile in the region.

We support hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.

More information about our practice can be found here.
