Senior Rust Engineer | Low Latency Trading Systems
We are partnered with a leading digital asset trading firm operating at the forefront of global markets, building high performance systems that power real time trading activity.
This role sits within a core engineering team responsible for the infrastructure that underpins trading, pricing, and connectivity across multiple global venues. You will be working on systems where performance, reliability, and latency directly impact trading outcomes.
The environment is engineering led, fast paced, and focused on clean, efficient system design.
What you will be doing:
Building low latency, high throughput systems in Rust
Designing and optimising trading infrastructure, including order management and execution systems
Working closely with traders and quants to improve performance and strategy execution
Developing exchange connectivity and market data systems
Contributing to architectural decisions across distributed systems
What we are looking for:
Strong experience with Rust in production environments
Background in low latency or performance critical systems
Experience within trading, market making, or financial systems
Solid understanding of concurrency, memory management, and system level performance
Experience working with distributed, real time systems
Nice to have:
Experience working in digital assets, crypto trading, or electronic trading environments
Exposure to exchange connectivity, market data feeds, or order routing systems
Familiarity with protocols such as FIX, WebSockets, or proprietary exchange APIs
Experience with C++ or other systems level languages in latency sensitive environments
Understanding of trading concepts such as order books, liquidity, and execution workflows
