Description

Join a forward-thinking IT organisation where technology, data, and product come together to drive meaningful change. We're looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to help shape and evolve our ServiceNow platform—delivering smart, scalable solutions that support our people and our business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, and App Engine.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Drive platform improvements, integrations (including Microsoft Teams), and automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Manage the ServiceNow roadmap, ensuring optimal use of new features and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and support incident resolution with minimal disruption.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong technical understanding & expertise of ITSM lifecycle, ServiceNow architecture, and workflow design.
  • Experience with integrations, Azure DevOps, and both imperative and declarative programming.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • ServiceNow CSA/CAD and ITIL certifications (beneficial but not essential).

  • What We Offer:

    • A people-first culture that values collaboration, inclusion, and innovation.
    • Opportunities for professional development, certification support, and career progression.
    • A close-knit team environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.
    • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies including AI, automation, and machine learning.
    • A role where you can make a real impact—technically and culturally.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. If you're passionate about technology and ready to grow in a supportive, dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

    Inclusion

Freshfields is an equal opportunities employer and all applications received by the firm will be considered on the basis of their merit alone. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of background. All offers of employment will be conditional on the candidate having/securing the right to work in the UK in the role in question and providing the firm with evidence of that right (as required by the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006) prior to employment commencing.

Freshfields is a Ban the Box employer. We ask applicants to disclose criminal convictions only if and when a conditional job offer is made. A conviction does not automatically lead to withdrawal of the offer: we make decisions on a case-by-case basis and take a number of relevant factors into account (e.g. the role you are applying for and the circumstances of the offence). You would have the opportunity to discuss the matter with us before we make a decision.
