With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing engineering organization (including managing other managers) responsible for the core platform architecture of the Google Cloud Universal Ledger.
• Drive the technical strategy for transitioning traditional financial infrastructure to cloud native, distributed architectures, focusing on reliability, security, and Google-scale throughput.

Advocate engineering excellence and developer velocity by building platform tooling, defining architectural standards, and automating delivery pipelines (CI/CD) for complex, regulated environments.

Partner with product management and external C-level stakeholders at major financial institutions to translate business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.

Oversee the implementation of critical security and governance frameworks (e.g., identity, zero trust, policy enforcement) required for banking-grade infrastructure.
