About The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative, insight-driven strategies for our clients. You will bring a deep understanding of market trends, cultural insights, and client needs to craft compelling, integrated campaigns that drive results. As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will collaborate closely with our creative and campaign teams to ensure that strategic vision is seamlessly executed across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership:
- Lead the development of the agency's strongest proposal responses, strategies, and creative concepts, setting the benchmark for quality within the team.
- Possess a strong commercial grasp, integrating profitability and operational efficiency into all strategic development, ensuring proposals are viable for the agency.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to align strategic promises with operational capabilities and financial objectives.
- Lead strategic proposals for the agency's most complex client briefs and difficult asks, consistently achieving high win rates for projects worth millions.
Creative & Insights Generation
- Deliver the highest quality, most concise, well-thought-out, and insightful creative concepts and content ideas that push boundaries and align with strategic objectives.
- Articulate compelling narratives that bring strategic and creative concepts to life with superior clarity and impact.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Demonstrate incredible communication skills, characterized by conciseness, precision, and efficient use of time in all interactions.
- Excel in client pitches and presentations, confidently owning the room and selling ideas with conviction and persuasive authority.
Agency Services & Solutions Expertise
- Maintain a firm and comprehensive grasp of the agency's full suite of services and solutions, effectively articulating and selling in their topline elements.
- Act as the designated subject matter expert for a specific agency service, developing and delivering internal training, and guiding its strategic integration into client proposals.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure continuous sharing of updates, news, and best practices for selling in and delivering specialised services.
Management & Development
- Formally line manage 1-2 team members, overseeing their performance and career development.
- Set clear, measurable objectives with line reports, conduct weekly check-ins, and track performance against goals in preparation for appraisals.
- Provide direct, constructive, and concise feedback, including having difficult conversations and making effective decisions regarding performance management.
- Actively support line reports in achieving their individual win rate objectives, alongside personal targets.
Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership
- Be recognised as a decisive leader across the agency, capable of handling difficult conversations and complex situations with authority.
- Exercise autonomy to provide decisive direction and guidance to junior team members, even those outside of their direct sub-team.
- Actively participate in both management calls, contributing strategic insights, pushing conversations forward, and proposing clear, actionable solutions for overall team and agency improvement.
Role Requirements:
- Strong ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for influencer marketing, an understanding of social campaigns and evolving knowledge of industry developments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of various Social Media platforms
