We are now seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team at our Denham site.
The Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will contribute to complex engineering work across the full product lifecycle—from concept and development to production and verification. You will:
• Maintain and manage system requirements
• Conduct detailed analyses and simulations
• Support system verification and validation
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for internal, customer, and contractual use
• You will also collaborate closely with the team, sharing knowledge and helping to maximise capability, quality, and productivity.
• This role offers exposure to advanced aerospace systems engineering in a highly specialised, safety-critical environment and provides excellent development opportunities for graduate engineers.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse system requirements and generate specifications
• Prepare technical documentation for internal, customer, and contract use
• Perform feasibility studies and trade-off analyses for new and existing programmes
• Carry out physiological load assessments
• Conduct simulations, analyses, and test matching using relevant software tools
• Develop new simulation models and innovative analysis methods
• Support system verification activities across the product lifecycle
• Collaborate and share knowledge with other Systems Engineers
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Participate in IPT meetings, design reviews, and technical presentations
• Travel within the UK and internationally as required
About You
We are looking for analytical, motivated engineers with a passion for complex systems and safety-critical aerospace products.
Essential:
• Degree (2:1 or above) in engineering, science, or related discipline
• Experience or strong interest in aerospace or systems engineering
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering principles
• Ability to produce technical documentation
• Knowledge of software development and systems modelling
• Good written and verbal communication, including with senior stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• IT literate and confident in software tools
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and support team members
Desirable:
• Experience with UML or SysML
• Simulation model development experience
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
