Senior Systems Engineer

It starts with our people, which is why we need a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and be responsible for designing, managing, planning, and monitoring various aspects of complex global enterprise software systems. This includes establishing production standards and leading projects to implement new technology and platforms into the production environment.

This position is a technical subject matter expert in IT technologies who serves as a technical resource for other teams. The Senior Systems Engineer solves technical problems that cannot be resolved at any other level in the department.

This opportunity to work within the BCLP Technology department will entail working closely with complex systems and will provide a challenging yet rewarding working environment. You will also have the chance to define the direction of a complex system infrastructure across multiple international offices and data centres and expand skills into other areas including legal applications such as Intapp Cloud technologies and Microsoft Dynamics Cloud.

BCLP is committed to making sure its people have the most up to date skills and knowledge and will also expect the attendance of relevant user groups and conferences.

You’ll be responsible for:

• being the Subject Matter Expert for part of the firms legal applications Suite of products.
• managing the firms Intapp Intake and Walls platforms.
• supporting and enhancing the firms existing platforms and large migration projects to cloud technologies. AI functions and features are also part of this role.
• overseeing, developing and improving many of the firms’ key integrations between all our primary systems, advancing the department’s strategy of modernization to enhance data accuracy.

Skills, experience and competencies required

Essential

• Knowledge of Intapp Intake (Cloud & OnPrem), Intapp Terms, Intapp Walls, Boomi, SQL, Power BI and MS Dynamics.

Desirable

• A confident attitude to supporting a complex global environment
• Friendly approach when assisting BCLP Technology users
• A strong aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Collaborates with suppliers and builds third-party relationships
• Interest in learning about other systems and applications in BCLP’s technology environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours for upgrades and rollouts as needed.
