Senior Tax Accountant

JSS Tax are hiring for a Senior Tax Accountant for a leading automotive company based near to Silverstone (supporting hybrid working arrangements)

This is a newly-created permanent full-time role paying circa £50k-£55k plus 10% bonus and with a fantastic package including car allowance.

Working closely with the Group Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for taking the lead in managing the tax affairs of one of the company's key divisions.

This will include looking after all taxes; This will be biased towards VAT/indirect tax but will include lots of corporation tax, and other areas such as employment taxes.

There will be a good mix of advisory, compliance, business partnering and project work.

There is in-built progression in this role with the expectation of moving up to a more senior position in the next 1-2 years.

They company are looking for someone with either mixed tax experience (indirect and direct), or potentially someone strong just in VAT/indirect tax who is willing to learn.

On top of the experience, the main requirement is someone with strong communication skills for the business partnering work, and someone interested in the progression thats on offer.
