Description
- Develop and implement effective warehouse solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
- Lead project management activities for solution implementation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends within warehousing and distribution.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members when necessary.
Profile
A successful Senior warehouse Solutions Design Manager should have:
- A strong background in warehouse design and responding to logistics tenders, particularly within the 3PL sector.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing operational solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (Excel).
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for warehouse layout and planning (AutoCAD, CLASS, Sketch up OR similar).
- The ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving operational efficiency (MTM, Six sigma is an advantage).
