Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering top-tier customer service? Wickes is looking for a Service Centre Coordinator to help us "do it right" for our customers.

The Role

As a Service Centre Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our installation service, ensuring every customer and installer journey is a success. You’ll act as a vital link between internal teams, external customers, third-party suppliers, and our distribution network.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Effective Communication: Keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the order and installation process.
  • Action Planning: Allocating corrective action requests promptly to meet targets and providing expert advice for work completion.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinating with submitters to ensure stock is delivered on time and managing any replacement items as needed.
  • Detailed Tracking: Maintaining accurate records in our central database (FSM) and reporting on progress to management.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolving payment queries and minimizing delays by working collaboratively with colleagues to meet completion dates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Attending regular review meetings to help refine our processes and enhance the service we provide.

  • Who We’re Looking For:

    • Experience: You have worked in the services sector or a similar high-quality customer service role within the last 18 months.
    • Skills: You possess strong literacy and numeracy skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
    • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working with multiple IT systems; experience with Google platforms (Sheets, Docs) and basic Excel reporting is a plus.
    • Mindset: You take ownership of your work, use your initiative to solve problems, and bring a positive, "can-do" attitude to the team.
    • Values: You are reliable, respectful, and eager to learn and improve every day.
