What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do
As a Shift Controller at our Gloucester facility, you will:
- Lead, support, and coordinate the shift team with professionalism.
- Ensure efficient and accurate inbound and outbound stock flow.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to maintain service and productivity standards.
- Monitor WMS, resolve anomalies, and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor and manager employee holidays, absence, and basic performance management.
- Allocate workloads effectively and support resource planning.
- Communicate clearly with Operators, Planners, Engineers, and Client Liaison teams.
- Liaise professionally with customers and transport partners to resolve issues.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally with exposure to WMS and stock flow processes.
- Strong people‑management skills with proven experience leading teams in an operational setting.
- A proactive, confident approach with the ability to coach, motivate, and support colleagues.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.
- Commitment to Health & Safety and continuous improvement.
- Good attention to detail and ability to remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
