What is the job?
As a Shipping and Warehouse Operator, you will be required to ensure the safe storage, picking and on time shipment of products made by our production groups. Our product range is diverse ranging from small mechanical items, electronics and heavy goods.
This is a hands-on manual role where you will need to collaboratively work as a team and respond to customer queries in a timely manner. ERP experience is needed.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
Department: Tables Logistics
Interview process: 2 stage process following shortlisting - First stage: 60 minute Teams interview Second stage: Onsite 1/2 hour interview
What We Would Like You To Do/to See...

What We Would Like You To Do/to See...
- Work safely and follow all site HSE guidelines
- Shipments of sales orders based on dates within our ERP system to ensure high levels of customer service
- Comply with all customs compliance procedures and documentation and participate in regular audits
- Booking appropriate carriers to collect goods
- Processing paperwork for outgoing shipments, including the printing of delivery notes, export certificates (EUR1, COO), and the picking of items for shipping

Where you will be working?
Our purpose-built facility is just 12 miles from Cambridge, within the beautiful mediaeval city of Ely. There are train and bus links to Ely from Kings Cross and Liverpool Street London, and our site is within distance of Ely train station and Ely Bus station.

- Valid Counterbalance Truck certificate recognized by an accredited training body. Engaging with our supervision programme to enable a safe operation. (preferred but not essential as training can be given)
