An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sister/Charge Nurse post within the surgical division to join a dynamic and growing team.
Nutfield Ward is a 28 bedded ward caring for patients with varying needs predominantly within the surgical specialties.
To provide leadership, support and supervision to junior colleagues and to act as a role model in the assessing, planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of a high standard to care for patients attending being cared for in the ward.
The Post Holder Will
Work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers in Nutfield Ward.
Be expected to work autonomously and independently, be in charge shifts as well as daily running of the department
Provide advice and support to junior staff. Be active in the development of staff and provision of training.
The department focuses on staff development actively seeks and creates opportunities for professional growth and development both within the Trust and utilizing external sources.
The service we provide is 24/7 therefore the post holder will be part of a shift rotation.
