This includes carrying out inspections and audits while enforcing a zero‑harm culture and ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations, permits, RAMS, and safe systems of work. You’ll also oversee high‑risk operations such as deep excavations, shafts, confined spaces, lifting activities, temporary works, and tunnelling interfaces, while ensuring robust environmental controls for groundwater, pollution, waste, noise, and dust.
You’ll manage short‑term and weekly programmes, coordinate labour, plant, materials, and logistics, and ensure works are correctly sequenced to protect key milestones. The role also involves monitoring subcontractor performance, delivering site briefings and coordination meetings, and supporting the development of engineers and supervisors through mentoring and coaching. You'll promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through lessons learned and best‑practice sharing.
What You’ll Bring
