To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Site Engineering Manager to come and join our team in our Sittingbourne factory.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • The development and implementation of a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System.
  • The collection and analysis of production and process data and its effective use to develop and achieve key targets and objectives.
  • The management, motivation and development of the team, through performance review to ensure delivery of team objectives.
  • Provision of engineering expertise to facilitate Continuous Improvement across the Site.
  • Implementation of and adherence to all Company and Site control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Procurement of engineering materials, goods and services, in line with working capital targets.
  • The design, implementation and management of capital improvement projects.
  • Effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectives to optimise efficiency.


  • Essential Qualifications & Experience:

    • A minimum of HNC engineering qualification (or equivalent).
    • Experience of running a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System.
    • A degree of computer literacy with experience of Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • A high degree of self-motivation.
  • A proven track record of strong management of a maintenance team.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills.
  • Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
  • Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.
