Offshore Based

- Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks across the converter station
- Carry out general "odd jobs" including minor repairs, housekeeping, and equipment checks
- Assist with planned and reactive maintenance activities as directed by the offshore team
- Monitor equipment and systems, reporting abnormalities or faults promptly
- Support logistics operations, including handling deliveries, tools, and materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, workshops, and accommodation spaces
- Assist other departments (electrical, mechanical, HSE) as required during night operations
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Participate in emergency response duties as part of the offshore team
- Skills & Experience
- Previous offshore experience (wind, oil & gas, or marine) preferred
- Practical, hands-on approach with basic mechanical or electrical awareness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take on varied tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a remote offshore environment
- Qualifications
- Offshore certifications - GWOs with Enhanced first aid, medical, Chester step, HUET + CA EBS, Slinger, and signals
Relevant technical or trade background (desirable but not essential)Crane operator (desirable but not essential)
