Introduction

Wipro is looking for a Monitoring & Observability Engineer to join our global Monitoring and Observability team. As a Monitoring & Observability Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and operating enterprise-scale observability solutions across a global technology estate. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic monitoring initiatives that directly support business resilience and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Driving the delivery of end-to-end observability solutions across a global technology footprint

• Collaborating with multiple internal teams to design and deploy scalable monitoring solutions

• Managing and enhancing enterprise monitoring platforms within a production environment

• Providing analytical insight to identify issues, define problems, and deliver innovative solutions

• Influencing technical and strategic decisions through clear communication and stakeholder engagement


Mandatory Skills

• Devops, OpenShift and Kubernetes administration, including deployment, troubleshooting, and networking

• Grafana administration, including dashboards, alerts, data sources, and user management

• Enterprise observability platforms such as Geneos ITRS

• Prometheus metrics collection and querying using PromQL

• Helm chart creation, management, and deployment for containerised applications


Desirable Skills

• Application deployment using enterprise platforms such as Lightspeed

• Cloud operations within Google Cloud environments

• Automation and scripting using Bash or Python

• Creating clear and structured technical documentation
