HOUSING SOLICITOR/BARRISTER/FCILEX POST
We currently have a vacancy for a Solicitor post to enable the Council to meet the growing demand for social housing and to enable the Council to meet its regulatory and statutory housing duties. The post would involve covering housing disrepair claims, possession actions and general housing and homelessness advice.

About The Team
We want you to join our supportive, dynamic and growing team dealing with high profile and challenging cases, covering all aspects of adult social care including court of protection, deprivation of liberty, mental capacity, mental health, no recourse to public funds and supporting the Council's priorities that people in Southampton live safe, healthy, independent lives, with foundations for life.
About You
The Council is looking for a practicing Solicitor, Barrister or CiLeX with advocacy, negotiating and advisory skills and competence with IT and case management systems. Your attitude is important, you will have an enabling, positive approach to finding solutions to complex problems.

The salary band for this role is £52,413 - £58,865 . The
starting salary is £52,413 with annual progression through the salary bands.
