Solution Architect – HR & Payroll Manchester or Stansted or East Midlands – Hybrid working

The Role
As a Solution Architect within the MAG Technology team, you’ll help transform our business through technology, digital capability and automation in our HR and Payroll tower. Working across our airports and group functions, you’ll define and design technology solutions that meet business requirements while considering systems, data, processes and people.
This role will be particularly focused on the architectural design and oversight of our SAP SuccessFactors HCM & Payroll platform, ensuring it supports our colleagues and leaders with modern, scalable and intelligent HR capabilities.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, influencing decisions and building consensus to ensure our HR technology strategy aligns with MAG’s wider ambition to become a data-driven, digitally enabled airport group.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Define and own solution architectures that support MAG’s HR and Payroll systems and strategy
· Lead the architectural design and governance of our SAP SuccessFactors landscape, including
core HCM and payroll capabilities
· Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions
· Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support long-term transformation
· Work across enterprise, application, service, infrastructure and data architecture domains
· Collaborate with engineering, delivery and business teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively
· Ensure solutions consider security, resilience, scalability and integration across the wider MAG technology ecosystem
As our successful Solution Architect for HR & Payroll you’ll bring:
· Hands-on experience with a tier 1 HR & Payroll system (essential)
· Experience designing and maintaining technical architecture using a recognised framework such as TOGAF
· Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies including cloud platforms, infrastructure,
development and DevOps toolsets
· Experience creating and delivering technology strategies and roadmaps in complex organisations
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
· Commercial awareness and the ability to influence at senior levels
