About The Role

We’re looking for a talented Solution Manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping innovative, customer-focused solutions across a diverse portfolio of bids. You’ll design end-to-end solutions for Government contracts (or key components of larger, complex opportunities) that combine user experience, people, processes, technology, assets and supply chain partnerships.

Working closely with Bid Directors, Solution Leads and Commercial Leads across the Growth central function, you’ll help create operationally informed, commercially viable and compelling propositions that win new and retain business.

If you enjoy turning broad complex questions into clear, workable, costed answers – this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the design and development of end-to-end solutions or solution components for bids
  • Building a strong understanding of the customer, market and opportunity landscape
  • Reviewing existing services and identifying synergies, efficiencies and improvements
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, operational colleagues and finance teams to design costed, deliverable solutions
  • Supporting risk identification, mitigation planning and contribution to risk registers
  • Working closely with technical leads to shape appropriate systems and ICT solutions
  • Contributing to compelling written bid responses in partnership with bid writers
  • Supporting effective handover to transition teams for implementation
  • Engaging proactively with customers (as required) to refine requirements and validate solution approaches
  • Supporting internal benchmarking, continuous improvement and contract optimisation initiatives

  • Experience

      • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
      • Clear, confident written communication skills – able to explain complex ideas simply
      • Evidence of working effectively in multiple, fast-paced environments
      • Quick to understand large volumes of information and data
      • Some operational experience – e.g. people management or data informed decision making
  • Some analytical capability
  • Some stakeholder management
  • Some commercial judgement and financial understanding
  • Some knowledge of UK Government market and competitive landscape
  • About You

    You’ll be someone who:

    • Has a collaborative working style
    • Thinks big picture but delivers reality
    • Balances customer wants with commercial realism
    • Pushes for better ways of working
    • Communicates complex ideas with ease
    • Demonstrates resilience

You’ll also be flexible and willing to travel as required to support bids across multiple locations.

    Why Join Us?

This role offers exposure to high-profile, strategically important opportunities and the chance to shape solutions that genuinely make a difference. You’ll work alongside experienced bid, commercial and operational professionals in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

If you’re passionate about designing smart, innovative and commercially sound solutions , we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us win and deliver the right way.
