About The Team And The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Architect to join our growing IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design and oversight of enterprise integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical standards. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, translating requirements into robust and scalable integration architectures. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our integration landscape, primarily centered around our Mulesoft iPaas and cloud-based services on GCP and AWS.
What You’ll Do
Solution Design & Oversight:
- Design comprehensive integration solutions for diverse projects, leveraging Mulesoft and AWS services.
- Oversee the implementation of these solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and methodologies to enhance integration capabilities.
- Present final solution designs to the Enterprise Integration Architect for review and approval.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for business stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing expert guidance.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, ensuring clear understanding and execution of solution designs.
- Involve the Enterprise Integration Architect in key design decisions and escalate potential conflicts or deviations from established standards.
Standards & Patterns
- Enforce and contribute to the development of organisational integration standards and patterns.
- Ensure consistency and maintainability across all integration solutions.
- Identify and address potential architectural risks and issues.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Integration Architect to define and refine integration standards and patterns.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.
- Maintain accurate records of integration solutions and configurations.
- Produce high level design documents
- Submit all major design documentation to the Enterprise Integration Architect for review and approval.
Proactive Problem Solving:
- Demonstrate a self-starter attitude, taking initiative to identify and resolve integration challenges.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve integration processes and performance.
- Consult with the Enterprise Integration Architect on complex or critical problem-solving scenarios.
Who You Are
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on enterprise integration.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and technologies, ideally Mulesoft and GCP/AWS cloud services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
