Team/Role Overview

The Markets Intelligence team focuses on developing commercial insights from internal & external data sets, deploying data science capabilities across Markets. The team uses Machine Learning/NLP to read Client & Broker requests by:

• Ingesting Client and Broker requests where financial products are quoted and traded
• Building Machine Learning / NLP models for structuring data objects
• Deploying low-latency, automation solutions for Sales and Trading workflow
  
  

This role has a Global footprint and will have significant impact in terms of influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others across the broader Markets organization. It requires collaboration with various teams within Markets to align, coordinate, challenge and implement results.

What You’ll Do

• Utilizing next gen data science techniques, or advanced data analytics for practical business applications
• Define and deliver on strategic direction for the team, ensuring alignment with overall Markets business objectives
• Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, product heads, and technology partners.
• Create and deliver compelling, high-impact executive communications and presentations, effectively translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights that influence business decisions
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning
  
  

What We’ll Need From You

The preferred candidate is a self-starter who can work to solve complex financial and analytical problems.

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as STEM/Finance
• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics, and in a leadership or managerial capacity
• Proven ability to define and solve highly complex, ambiguous financial and analytical problems

Highly effective communicator, able to interact with stakeholders

Ability to strategically prioritize, manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, and operate effectively under pressure
