We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HCPC registered Specialist BMS to join our team. You must be a strong team player who has a positive attitude to change. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will work as part of a team of staff based at the Royal Stoke University Hospital site.
The Infection Science Department at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and clinical services for two acute Hospitals, local GUM clinics and a wide range of community based health providers.
We also provide laboratory services to GPs and wider service users in the surrounding area. The Virology department is equipped with Roche Cobas e801, Diasorin Liaison XL, Biomerieux Vidas, Roche Cobas8800, Cepheid GeneXpert, and Biomerieux Filmarray, among others . The hours of work for this post will be 37.5 hours per week over a 24/7 period.
Applicants will be expected to have significant virology experience preferably in an NHS Lab and be HCPC registered. However where a suitable candidate without these is not identified, we may consider those without.
