An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Therapy Team at Brecon Community Hospital.
This role provides rehabilitation services to both in-patients and individuals in the community. The primary aim is to support timely discharge from the ward and facilitate reintegration into the community, while delivering ongoing therapy to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals. The postholder will work flexibly across settings, supporting both the ward and the community therapy team, and managing referrals to ensure continuity of care.
The team is comprised of an Occupational Therapy Team Lead, Occupational Therapists, a Physiotherapist, Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants and Assistant Therapy Practitioners and work flexibly to meet the needs of the local population.
The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.
We would particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers; but even if youdontspeak any Welsh, or want to develop your skills,dontworry: the health board will support you with training.
