Applications are invited from enthusiastic and self-motivated radiographers who want to develop their careers and contribute their skills to the Interventional Suite & Cardiac Cath Lab at MKUH NHS trust.Join us as a specialist radiographer and be part of our vibrant, friendly and inclusive Imaging Department. We are equipped with two GE systems, an IGE 520S in the Cath Lab, a GE Allia IGS7 in the Interventional suite and a Canon Ultimax i for general fluoroscopy.The ideal candidate would have experience of working in Interventional radiology and or cardiology but not essential as training will be provided.Our Imaging Department has a wide range of DR imaging modalities and has a Trust wide PACS. Student radiographers rotate through the department from the University of Hertfordshire and apprentice radiographers rotate through the department who study at the University of Exeter.It is an exciting time to join Milton Keynes with the opening of a dedicated Imaging Scanning Centre for CT, MRI and Ultrasound as well as 2 new Community Diagnostic Centres which have recently opened in Milton Keynes.Aswell as the Interventional Suite & the Cardiac Cath Lab, the department also has CT, MRI, PACS and Trauma-Acute-General - (TAG) radiography, and our expectation is that there will be a commitment to the out of hours TAG service.The successful candidate would rotate through Cardiology, Interventional Radiology and TAG on a weekly basis.
