Job description:
Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £30,000.00 - £37,796.00 per year
Chatterbug is an innovative Social Enterprise providing high-quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy services across the UK.
Our mission is to create a positive, lasting impact for children, families, and communities. We pride ourselves on delivering results that truly make a difference, regardless of a client's background. Our passionate team consists of highly skilled Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) and assistants who put the child at the heart of everything they do.
As a social enterprise, we invest in our people and our community, ensuring that we not only deliver excellent service but also advocate for the needs of those with speech, language, and communication difficulties (SLCN).
Job Purpose
The postholder will plan, develop, and deliver effective, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy services across private clinic, school, and community-based settings. You will contribute to high standards of professional practice and safe service delivery, ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people.
At Chatterbug, you will work with clinicians who are actively pushing standards and raising the bar for Speech and Language Therapy. You will have access to innovative tools, evidence-informed frameworks and emerging approaches that support high-quality practice and measurable outcomes. We expect our therapists to think critically, stay curious and contribute to the ongoing development of the profession — and we provide the environment to do exactly that.
Brief Job Description
The postholder will deliver high-quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy services tailored to our clients' needs, working across a range of settings. You will contribute to the assessment and diagnosis of children and young people with a variety of Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN), while providing professional support to students, apprentices, and SLT Assistants.
The role also requires active involvement in the wider development of Chatterbug. This includes representing the organisation at local and national levels and working flexibly across locations. This is a dynamic role within a growing social enterprise; you will contribute to service development and organisational initiatives alongside your core clinical work.
