About the role:

In this newly-created Staff Software Engineer role, you will lead the charge in digitizing the foundational industries that power our world. You won’t just be managing operational costs; you will be architecting and building the intelligence behind the entire energy lifecycle.

This includes everything from optimizing fuel efficiency and automating emissions reporting to building the complex infrastructure required for global electric vehicle fleets. By leveraging our massive operational dataset, you will provide the technical foundation that empowers our customers to reduce their carbon footprint and transition to a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will:

A history of hands-on contribution at a senior level. You are a builder who actively writes code and believes the best architects are close to the implementation.

Intellectual honesty and a bias for action. You make pragmatic decisions and can navigate the complexities of a large engineering organisation.

An ability to multiply the impact of those around you. You raise the standard through clear communication, thoughtful mentorship, and an ability to make complex ideas simple.

Experience working with large-scale data processing or machine learning pipelines. You are comfortable diving into raw data to find patterns and solve customer problems.

A deep sense of ownership and the ability to drive multi-quarter, cross-functional initiatives to completion without waiting for direction.
