JDR are looking for a stock control clerk for a busy manufacturing site based in Birkenhead.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied role where no 2 days are the same.
Location: Preston PR1
Salary: up to £29,700 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Thurdau 8AM Until 5PM And Friday 8AM to 12.30PM

What The Role Looks Like
- Works orders process - Post production of works order to include issuing of actual stock used and booking of finished goods and allocation of stock. Focus on FIFO and batch rotation.
- Generate metrics and reporting pack for the count performance.
- Complete and record accurate cycle counts on a weekly and monthly basis
- Accurately manage the inventory in the MRB/Quarantine, ensuring this is healthy and reviewed on a regular basis by the MRB team.
- Be responsible for ensuring that slow-moving stock is considered, and damaged stock investigated, FIFO/rotation is applied accurately with locations maintained and system accuracy at 100%
- Be proactive and engaged with the development and launch of the WMS
- Where required raise despatch notes on Sage and Commercial invoices.
- Someone who previous experience within a stock control capacity, preferably within a manufacturing client.
- Someone who experience using Sage200
- Someone organised, who can prioritise their own workload and works well unsupervised.
- Someone who has a drive and is punctual.
- A salary of up to £29,700, DOE
- Holidays of 25 days per year + bank holidays
