Hearst UK operate a hybrid working model of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James’s, London, SW1Y 4AJ , where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.
The Role…
This is a fast-paced, high-impact position at the heart of some of the UK’s most iconic brands - Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Prima, Red, Runner’s World and Women’s Health. You’ll take ownership of sub-editing content to the highest editorial standards, second-reading pages with a sharp eye for detail, and confidently proofreading and signing off pages before they go live or to print. Accuracy, tone, legal awareness and brand voice all sit in your remit if it carries the masthead, you help ensure it’s right.
Working closely with the Deputy Chief Sub, Chief Subs and Group Chief Sub, you’ll play a key role in driving the entire subbing and production process. From first copy through to final pages sent to press, you’ll help keep everything moving - solving problems, protecting quality, and making sure deadlines are hit without compromise.
