About The Role

About The Role
As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for a caseload of mainstream foster carers, this involves completing regular supervisory visits, identifying training needs, and completing annual reviews. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can work proactively with the allocated children's social worker and partner agencies.
This is an opportunity to develop core child in need skills, working closely with foster families, looked after children, young people and their families and developing child-centred, co-produced plans which reflect aspirations and sustainability for families.
About The Candidate
The successful applicant will need to be a team player, demonstrate enthusiasm, an ability to work on their own initiative and to engage with approved foster carers, work within the wider fostering team to meet the needs of the fostering service.
