JOB PURPOSE
JOB PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the smooth and efficient movement of materials and finished textiles through our manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll help align procurement, planning, logistics and compliance activities to ensure on‑time production and delivery. Your work will contribute to maintaining Burberry’s exacting standards of quality, accuracy and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage purchase orders and warehouse pick requests to support weekly despatch and production needs.
- Coordinate closely with production planners to ensure material supply aligns with manufacturing schedules and proactively communicate risks.
- Support accurate goods receipting for raw materials and finished products in partnership with warehouse teams.
- Liaise with domestic and international suppliers to confirm order status, track shipments and support timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and verify documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring correct customs coding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, contributing to AEO and GOTs processes and supporting internal audits.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively.
- A clear and collaborative communicator across teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and/or international trade, customs or Incoterms is beneficial, though training can be provided.
- Comfortable working with data, ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
- Curious and committed to continuous improvement in operational accuracy and supply chain performance.
- Able to work with care, integrity and accountability in a production‑focused environment.
