The Placement Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Supply Chain Placement Student to join our European Distributions team for a 12‑month placement based in Gloucester.
This placement offers hands‑on experience within a global supply chain organisation where distribution excellence is critical to business success. You will be involved in meaningful projects, gain exposure to multiple supply chain functions, and develop strong analytical and commercial skills in a supportive, high‑performance environment.
Our Team
You will join INVISTA’s European Business Operations team, an integrated organisation bringing together Customer Experience, Planning, and Logistics to deliver reliable, customer‑focused supply chain solutions across Europe.
Within this group, the European Distributions team plays a critical role in enabling INVISTA’s success by ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution across the supply chain. The team works closely with internal and external partners to support strategic initiatives, improve processes, and create long‑term value for customers and the business.
What Will You Do
Gain exposure to core supply chain areas including Customer Experience, Logistics, and Sales & Operational Execution
Support and contribute to long‑term strategic projects aligned to INVISTA’s 5‑year business objectives
Analyse data, identify trends, and develop recommendations that create value for the business and our customers
Apply critical and economic thinking to prioritise work and solve problems effectively
Communicate insights and ideas clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
Build strong professional relationships and benefit from ongoing mentorship and development support
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
You are currently studying towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
You communicate clearly and effectively and are comfortable sharing ideas and perspectives with others.
You are proactive, curious, and motivated by learning and making a meaningful contribution.
You enjoy analysing information, identifying opportunities, and improving processes.
You are willing to respectfully challenge the status quo and explore new ways of working.
