Systems Accountant - Pharmaceutical / Medical sector
An international company in the medical industry is looking for a Systems Accountant or Financial Systems Manager with good knowledge of the pharmaceutical / medical sector to join their team.
The company is improving their Finance systems and ERP solution and building up compliance for key areas in finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing. They are looking for someone with good understanding of compliance requirements and processes in the Medical industry to join their team and help build out the finance systems and ERP.
Working as the bridge between business stakeholders in Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT, this role will gather requirements and translate to the ERP system and will improve the system and processes. The right candidate will have good prior Finance Systems and ERP experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and exposure to key compliance areas e.g. GAMP, GxP, CSV to understand requirements and translate to Business Systems and support the continued success of the organisation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis: requirements gathering and translation to system configuration in the Oracle ERP system, and integrated systems
- Drive system improvements for Finance, Supply Chain, Quality assurance and other areas, paying particular attention to compliance and documentation requirements
- Deliver projects to implement new features and functionality and improve the ERP system and key processes
Your profile:
- Strong ERP systems experience e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365, IFS or similar
- Functional knowledge of core areas such as Financials, Logistics, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance in the medical devices, pharmaceutical, or therapeutics industry
- Good business process understanding and ability to engage with key stakeholders across business areas to gather requirements and translate to ERP system design
Type: Permanent employment contract
Location: London (3-4 days / week onsite)
