How you create impact

• Responsibly safeguard all levels of customer and employee data under your control, and in accordance with KN policy and GDPR requirements.
• To monitor and ensure all driver training, especially KN mandated training requirements are achieved in line with requirements. Ensure all training records are completed (Record of Achievements), maintained and Learning & Development (L&D) notified.
• Ensure all areas in your control remain compliant with EU and UK Transport legislation, the management of driver’s Road Transport Working Time Regulations 2005 and EU Drivers’ hours to ensure drivers take all their appropriate breaks.
• Complete regular tachograph analysis to take place and all infringements are actioned and notified to the Transport Managers for appropriate action to be taken. Drivers are also to be notified of infringements as and when they are identified
• Carry out regular quality paperwork checks on Drivers, Pre/Post Use Checks, DG Notes, VORs, Fuel Cards, Toll Cards and tasking sheets. Plan regular checks to ensure it becomes a known requirement
• Monitor driver colleague holiday, absence notifications, self-certification and return to work, enter onto the electronic system which supports Absence management. Conduct Welcome back Discussions in accordance with the Policy Rules Guidance with individuals on return from any sick absence. Escalate when appropriate to the Transport Manager.

Complete, check and submit the daily and weekly T&A spreadsheet for submission in line with business requirements.

Process T&S claims for authorised expenses as per policy for your direct reports in a timely manner.

What we would like you to bring

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred
• Experience of working to agreed targets
• Preferred experience (not essential) of JDA[Despatcher]
• Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team. Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
• Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate
• Reliable and committed to attending work on time
• Good Communication skills. Strong organisation skills
