We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and childcare experienced person to join the Family Service Early Help Case Management Team as a Team Manager. The post is based in the Broxtowe & Rushcliffe Family Support & Safeguarding Team. The Early Help Case Management Team undertakes family assessments, liaising with family members and partner agencies and develops an agreed plan of actions to addresses the support issues for the family.
The role is to provide safe and effective management in leading on the operation of a team to deliver effective processes and procedures that lead to improved outcomes for children, young people and their families. You will have the experience of managing people effectively and the ability to lead a team to achieve positive outcomes and ensuring the children that we work with are supported and safeguarded. You will also be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and experience and ideally have experience of working within the strengths-based practice framework.
You will be motivated, committed, and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people, and families. You will be able to build effective working relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills, supervise, and appraise your team and ensure all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently.
You will have a relevant qualification at level 4 or above in social care, child development or family systems, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience of providing services to children, young people or families along with experience of working in collaboration with a range of partner agencies.
