To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant to come and join our team at our Facility at Ibstock Nostell
Role Summary
The successful candidate will support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of quality assurance systems, including materials testing, process control, and environmental control procedures, across the manufacturing operation.
This role operates on a Mon-Fri - 8am to 4pm

Role Summary
The successful candidate will support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of quality assurance systems, including materials testing, process control, and environmental control procedures, across the manufacturing operation.
This role operates on a Mon-Fri - 8am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional Quality Assurance and environmental control tasks in line with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive work instructions for testing and operational processes.
- Conduct product and raw material testing, analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to process development and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department and across the wider factory operations.
- Promote and maintain high standards of Quality, Health & Safety, and environmental compliance.
- Record, document, and report test results and operational data accurately.
- Train colleagues and monitor the consistent application of process control checks throughout the facility.
- Apply and promote 5S methodology to improve within the Test Laboratory
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvement techniques to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Support thermal processing re Kiln and Dryer where required
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- A good working knowledge of materials science principles (desirable).
