Job Title: Technical Coordinator

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. Onsite (Day & Night Shifts)

Salary: £29,667+ depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Controlling and operating the Ripout database along with associated spreadsheets
  • Accurately inputting data and updating Smart Board systems for lead boat operations
  • Handling the transmission and receipt of classified documents in line with security protocols
  • Coordinating the movement of classified hardware securely and efficiently
  • Updating and maintaining Ministry of Defence (MOD) documentation records
  • Organising, filing, and maintaining departmental test forms to ensure compliance
  • Conducting regular audits to uphold standards and identify areas for improvement

Essential

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge and understanding of production / pipework drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office in particular PowerPoint, Excel
  • Stakeholder management experience

  • Desirable

    • Experience of SAP

    The DTO (Dockside Test Organisation) Team

    Join our close-knit DTO Records Office team, where no two days are the same! You’ll play a vital role in managing Test & Commissioning documentation, ensuring Ripout control processes are followed, and keeping smart boards updated. As the central point of contact during sea trials and power range testing, you’ll update the Oracle Ripout database (soon moving to SAP), manage signatures, and deliver the daily morning status report that keeps the business informed, all while working in a dynamic, supportive environment.
