About The Role
- We are seeking a client-focused and highly skilled Technical Delivery Engineer specialising in Connectivity Support. You will act as a technical authority for the ongoing operational health, optimisation, security, and reliability of key client network infrastructure.
- This role demands deep involvement and hands-on client engagement within live managed network environments, ensuring the stability and performance of critical connectivity services built on technologies from Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiEMS), Palo Alto Networks (NGFW), and Juniper (SRX, ACX) working alongside our managed services offerings in Cloud, UC and Cyber Security.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior client focussed, technical role focused on network operations, network engineering, or network consulting within complex, multi-vendor network environments (prior MSP or ISP experience highly beneficial).
- Deep hands-on expertise managing, troubleshooting, and optimising Fortinet based platforms (FortiGate NGFW, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer experience essential) and managing SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet SD-WAN highly preferred).
- Strong hands-on expertise managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks NGFW.
- Demonstrable experience managing and troubleshooting Juniper SRX devices.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience with dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP.
- Expertise in VPN technologies, including complex IPsec site-to-site configurations and remote access SSL VPN solutions.
- Solid understanding of core network security principles and technologies (stateful firewalling, NAT, IPS/IDS, web filtering, application control).
- Familiarity with MPLS technologies and experience interacting with ISP and carriers.
