Summary

The Wallet, Payments and Commerce team is responsible for bringing ground-breaking financial services to consumers with a vision to replace the physical wallet and help people live financially healthier lives. We are looking for a motivated and technically curious intern to join the Apple Pay team. This is an internship position on the Wallet, Payments and Commerce team and is located in our London offices requiring 3 days on site a week. This is a 6 month internship position starting April 2026.

Description

You will support the Apple Pay E-commerce Partner Solutions team in creating proof-of-concept projects and technical documentation that demonstrate Apple Pay functionality for payment service providers and merchants. You will assist with building sample integrations, testing new features, and documenting best practices to help partners understand and implement Apple Pay solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn about the payments ecosystem while contributing to projects that inspire partners to create best-in-class Apple Pay and Wallet experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Foundational knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and/or iOS development (Swift)
  • Passion for Apple technology and products
  • Eagerness to learn about online payments, merchant integrations, and the payments ecosystem
  • Basic debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Enthusiasm for creating outstanding user experiences
  • To meet the eligibility criteria you must currently be enrolled in education and returning to education post the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Personal projects or coursework demonstrating coding abilities
  • Interest in technical writing and creating clear documentation
  • Familiarity with payment technologies or e-commerce platforms
  • Fluent in English. Other languages desirable
