About The Roles
Technical Officer x 2 Publications Team
Two Technical Officers are required to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of planning submissions from receipt through to decision, being the first point of contact for Applicants and Agents.
The Technical Officer role is integral to the team, and you should be confident in working within agreed timescales and performance criteria and able to access and interpret submitted information against the national and local validation criteria for all types of planning applications.
You will be responsible for registering and validating tree applications, validating revised and supplementary planning documents and processing decision notices.
As part of the role you will respond to a wide range of customer and third party planning enquiries by email and confidently liaise with planning officers, agents and members.
You should have a flexible approach to your working days, as you will be expected to cover a variety of processes and take fee payment calls as part of your duties.
