Job Description: Technical Sales Manager


Leader Electronics of Europe is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Manager to expand and support sales of our test and measurement solutions across the European market. This role combines strong commercial sales capability with technical expertise to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, broadcast, test equipment, or measurement systems, along with proven experience developing customer relationships and closing complex technical sales opportunities. This role bridges the gap between customers, sales teams, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and generate revenue.

This position requires frequent travel across Europe to visit customers, distributors, and industry events. A valid passport and the ability to travel freely within Europe are essential.


Technical Sales Support:

  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, partners, and distributors.
  • Provide pre-sales consultation to ensure correct product selection and solution design.
  • Support customer trials, evaluations, and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and coordinate escalation to engineering teams when needed.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product improvements, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities across assigned European territories.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Support distributor performance through training, joint sales calls, and market development activities.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of commercial or technical concerns.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM tools.

Technical Marketing Support

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support product positioning.
  • Collect and communicate market feedback to guide product development and future marketing strategies.
  • Support the marketing team in creating and reviewing technical content such as product datasheets, application notes, whitepapers, case studies, and customer success stories.
  • Provide technical input for digital marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional materials to ensure accuracy and strong market positioning.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, seminars, and customer events, including delivering presentations and live demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop training materials for customers and channel partners.
  • Support video and social media technical content creation where needed, ensuring product information remains current and aligned with customer needs.


Required qualification, experience, skills and knowledges:

  • 5+ years of experience in the broadcast/media test and measurement industry
  • Technical understanding of IP networks, SDI, HDMI, video/audio standards, or similar relevant technologies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently across regions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
