Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using Docker Container and KONG technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
Migrate existing estate from APIGEE to KONG - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate REST APIs and ensure seamless communication between services.
Oversee the deployment and management of Kubernetes clusters to optimize resource utilization and maintain high availability.
Provide technical guidance on authentication and authorization protocols to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
Conduct thorough testing of REST/API services using tools like Postman and Swagger Hub to ensure functionality and performance.
Implement security protocols including JSON Web Token and SAML to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
Develop and maintain Lua scripts for custom integrations and automation tasks to streamline operations.

Utilize JSON and JavaScript to create dynamic and responsive applications that meet user requirements.

Lead efforts in auditing and quality control to identify and mitigate financial risks ensuring regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive value.

Provide mentorship and training to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Engage in regular reviews and updates of system architecture to align with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Travel as required to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement ensuring successful delivery of solutions.

Experience Required

Extensive experience with Docker Container and KONG technologies is required to design robust architecture solutions.
Proficiency in REST/API service testing using Postman and Swagger Hub is essential for ensuring system functionality.
Strong understanding of security protocols including JSON Web Token and SAML is necessary to protect data integrity.
Familiarity with Kubernetes for resource optimization and high availability is crucial for maintaining system performance.
Experience in auditing and quality control within the financial risk domain is a valuable asset for regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of Lua scripting and JSON is beneficial for custom integrations and dynamic application development.
Expertise in JavaScript is required to create responsive and user-friendly applications that meet business needs.

Certifications Required:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Docker Certified Associate, KONG API Gateway Certification
