Temp Warehouse Operative (Summer Peak)

Aspinal of London are looking to start and train new team members as Warehouse Operatives & Gift Wrappers as soon as possible who are looking for Temporary summer positions to support us through our summer peak. We are able to start new team members in June until the end of July / August.

The Distribution Centre is the pumping heart of Aspinal. The team ensures that all stores and customers receive the beautiful products on time and in great condition. We are an efficient team of hardworking individuals who enjoy the challenge of delivering results in a rapidly growing organisation.

The warehouse is a fast moving and high energy environment to work in with the focus being on quality, accuracy and efficiency.

Minimum shift is 24hrs per week.

Key Duties

• Gift wrap luxury leather goods in line with company presentation standards
• Unpack, check, count and store stock accurately and efficiently
• Carry out quality checks on products and report any issues or discrepancies to management
• Complete all assigned tasks within agreed productivity targets and KPI requirements
• Replenish packaging, gift wrapping and warehouse consumables as required
• Support the picking, packing and despatch of customer orders
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse and yard areas
• Assist with waste management and the safe disposal of cardboard and rubbish
• Safely handle and move stock, boxes and materials within the warehouse
• Operate pump trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Ensure all work areas remain clean, organised and safe always
• Provide support to other warehouse functions when required by the business
• Follow all company Health & Safety, Security and operational procedures
• Represent Aspinal of London professionally at all times within the workplace
