Do you have strong experience managing temporary accommodation and leading frontline housing teams? We’re looking for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader to lead a high-quality, customer-focused service for households placed in temporary accommodation, ensuring homes are safe, well-managed and meet all health and safety requirements.
This is a busy operational leadership role, supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and working closely with accommodation providers and internal partners to improve standards, performance and outcomes.

About The Role
As Temporary Accommodation Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support a team of Temporary Accommodation Officers, providing day-to-day management, supervision and guidance
- Ensure temporary accommodation is safe, habitable and meets all statutory health and safety requirements
- Work with accommodation providers to ensure repairs and standards are met, escalating non-compliance when needed
- Manage performance, quality of casework and customer service standards, ensuring enquiries and complaints are responded to promptly
- Deal with complex cases, including safeguarding, anti-social behaviour and tenancy issues
- Work with internal teams and external partners to improve move-on outcomes and tenancy sustainment
- Monitor compliance, maintain accurate records and ensure legal duties are met
- Use performance data to drive service improvement and support delivery of targets

- Has strong experience managing temporary accommodation, supported housing or homelessness services
