The Beauty team at TikTok Shop partners with brands to help them grow and succeed through tailored business development, data-driven strategy, and creator-led marketing. Our team brings together expertise in brand management, e-commerce, and social commerce within a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment. Business Development plays a critical role in driving beauty growth on TikTok Shop UK by identifying high-potential sellers, converting the right opportunities, and supporting brands through onboarding and early-stage incubation to unlock long-term growth on the platform.

This is a hybrid Business Development and Account Management role focused exclusively on Korean beauty brands. You will own the full lifecycle for a portfolio of fast-growing K-Beauty sellers — from prospecting and pitching, through onboarding and integration, into ongoing account management, growth planning, and commercial performance. You will be the day-to-day commercial lead for some of the most dynamic brands on the platform.
Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 account executives across seller acquisition and incubation, setting clear expectations on execution quality, pace, and commercial outcomes. - Drive strong performance across the certain seller lifecycle, from lead conversion and onboarding through to early-stage incubation and milestone progression. - Ensure the team effectively works platform-provided high-potential leads, with strong discipline in outreach, follow-up, conversion, and seller activation. - Build and refine scalable playbooks for seller acquisition, onboarding, incubation, and account growth, improving consistency across the team. - Coach team members on business development, seller communication, problem-solving, and growth strategy to raise overall team capability. - Monitor team and seller performance closely, using data and operational insight to identify bottlenecks, improve execution, and drive stronger business progress. - Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to resolve seller blockers, improve processes, and support commercial growth across the portfolio. - Step into key seller conversations when needed, especially for high-priority merchants, complex situations, or strategic growth opportunities. - Foster a high-performance team culture built on accountability, ownership, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Significant experience in Business Development, seller acquisition, account management, or merchant growth within e-commerce, marketplace, or platform-based businesses. - Demonstrated people management experience, ideally leading a team of around 10 individuals in a fast-paced commercial environment. - Strong coaching capability, with experience improving team performance through clear feedback, structured management, and skill development. - Experience working with lead-based acquisition models and high-potential seller portfolios is highly preferred. - Strong analytical and operational skills, with the ability to use data to guide prioritisation, diagnose issues, and improve team performance. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal teams and external sellers. - Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, social commerce, or merchant-facing platform businesses is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications - At least 5 years of experience in seller acquisition and seller management/incubation, including at least 2 years of people management experience. - Experience leading a team in a fast-paced e-commerce, marketplace, or platform business. - Strong track record of driving both seller conversion and post-onboarding growth. - Experience coaching team members on business development, seller strategy, and execution quality. - Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance team management, operational discipline, and business growth.
