We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tissue Viability Lead to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Tissue Viability Service. This is an excellent opportunity for an expert practitioner in complex wound management and pressure ulcer prevention to lead high quality, evidence based care across the organisation.
The post holder will act as the specialist lead for tissue viability, promoting best practice in wound care, lower limb management, and skin integrity. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to reduce harm, improve patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with national standards and quality frameworks.
As a senior clinical leader, you will provide expert advice and education, oversee incident reviews and root cause analyses, and drive quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes responsibility for policy development, audit, governance, workforce development, and contributing to strategic service planning.
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience managing change within complex healthcare settings. Excellent communication, the ability to influence at senior level, and a proven track record in service improvement and clinical governance are essential.
