Job Title: Traffic Management Co-ordination Officer


Salary: £38,080 - £42,150

Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Basis: Permanent

A vacancy has arisen for a Traffic Management Coordination Officer within the City Operations Division. The post will be part of a team that liaise with Statutory Utility companies and other external organisations in respect of requests to authorise road closures and scaffolding and hoarding licences for developments and utilities carrying out activities on the highway.


The postholder will assist in providing a comprehensive service, including coordinating and authorising road closures, parking bay suspensions and dispensations, liaise with external and internal contacts with the aim to ensuring disruption to traffic, residents is kept to a minimum.


You will also respond to enquiries and complaint for the public with regards to traffic management matters.
