Trainee Dispenser

Our Burton site is looking at taking on 'Trainee Dispensers', on a permanent full time basis.

This is a non‑patient facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working accurately, at pace, and wants to build a long‑term career in the pharmacy sector.

Working 40hrs per week, between the hours of 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, you will be part of a small team that accurately picks and packs up to 5000 medicines and ancillary products per day, ensuring that dates are checked, stock is rotated, and any issues are logged in line with regulatory standards, before they go out to our patients.

This role offers the chance to enter the pharmacy industry with full support and structured training. You’ll be auto‑enrolled onto a Level 2 Dispensing Qualification, gaining recognised experience while contributing directly to patient care behind the scenes

What is required?

This role would suit someone who:

• Works accurately and efficiently, even in a fast‑paced environment
• Is comfortable using IT systems and learning new software

Is reliable, organised, and detail‑focused

Has an interest in pharmacy or healthcare (previous experience is helpful but not essential)

Is keen to learn, develop new skills, and work towards formal qualifications
