Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Major Trauma Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

We are seeking a dynamic therapist to join our diverse Allied Health Professional team on our dedicated trauma ward. This role offers the chance to gain broad experience in trauma‑focused Occupational Therapy, working with patients with varied and complex needs. Clinical presentations may include fragility fractures, polytrauma, head injury, spinal cord injury, plastic surgery, and amputation.

You will carry out evidence‑based assessments and interventions to support recovery, promote wellbeing and maximise independence. The post requires the ability to adapt quickly within a busy environment and to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team. Building strong partnerships with other agencies will be essential to ensure safe and appropriate discharge planning and continuity of care.

  • VBI and technical interview held consecutively (~1 hour each)

    To provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service (i.e. safe, patient focussed, effective and evidence-based) in collaboration with other team members to trauma patients at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
