OCR Alpha is currently partnering with a fast-growing multi-strategy hedge fund as it continues to expand its presence in London and looks to hire a Junior Treasury Operations Associate.
This hire is being made to support the continued growth of the business and strengthen the Treasury Operations function within an increasingly complex, high-volume funding environment. The role sits at the centre of daily treasury activity, supporting cash movements, margin, liquidity and funding requirements in real time, and offers a strong opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of Treasury Operations in a lean, hands-on team.
Responsibilities will include overseeing margin calls, cash and collateral movements, liquidity monitoring, trade capture and FX rolls, while ensuring timely settlement and resolving breaks efficiently.
The position offers broad exposure across the fund, with regular interaction with portfolio managers, trading assistants, prime brokers, counterparties and the fund administrator, as well as opportunities to improve processes and help reduce operational risk.
The team is open to candidates ranging from recent graduates with internship experience in financial markets through to c.3 years’ experience. Coding ability is essential. They are looking for someone bright, analytical and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, with a notice period of one month or less strongly preferred.
